This project re-imagines an abandoned fish-factory port, embracing the history of Elands Bay with a new museum and restaurant. It explores variation in light versus heavy structure to evoke excitement and comfort respectively. It optimizes views and circulation, using the walkway to tie the project together, as a threshold, an invitation, a bridge, and a viewing platform.
